Faith is not believing that God can-
it is knowing that He will.

I think one thing that we all have in common is that we find peace and love in our relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This group is made of many denominations. The one thing I'm so thankful for is the respect we show each other in this area. For no matter what the denomination He has brought us together as Sisters in Christ to serve and worship Him in whatever way He has led us. This poem best reflects our lives when we say "I am a Christian". I only wish I new who the author was.

When I Say I am a Christian

When I say...I am a Christian
I'm not shouting "I am saved."
I'm whispering "I get lost"
That's why I chose this way.

When I say...I am a Christian
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
And need someone to be my guide.

When I say...I am a Christian
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I am weak
And pray for strength to carry on.

When I say...I am a Christian
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
And cannot ever pay the debt.

When I say ...I am a Christian
I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are too visible
But God believes I'm worth it.

When I say...I am a Christian
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches
Which is why I seek HIS name.

When I say...I am Christian
I don't wish to judge.
I have no authority
I only know I'm loved.

So what makes us Christians?
Our Faith in Christ!
...thy faith hath made thee whole.
Matthew 9:22

We pray that you feel the peace and love of the Lord this day.
